In that the hospital is accessed off a busy main road the client decided that they would relocate the main reception to the rear of the property where parking would be available.

By infilling a lightwell at ground level a suitable additional area was formed and in order to provide adequate natural light a large, purpose made, hardwood framed lantern light was installed. Externally a purpose made hardwood and glass canopy was constructed to give protection to visitors and internally a purpose made reception desk was constructed.
