Dover Park Drive, Putney

An extensive fire effectively gutted this building and we were appointed to carry out the reconstruction of the entire roof including structure, tiling and leadwork.

This complicated 'cut and pitched' roof was made more difficult by the fact that there were no drawings of the original structure. This meant that the Building Surveyors and ourselves only had photographs and smoke marks on chimneys etc from which to work out the reinstatement. Fortunately our Site Manager is an expert in this type of work and he was able to guide our team of carpenters through the reconstruction.

Further problems were encountered by two of the residents agreeing with the Loss Adjusters that they could have 'loft extensions' incorporated into the works.
